Inspect first if you need to know what is present, then re-encode without metadata. Remember that visible pixels can still reveal private information.
What EXIF can contain
Camera model, exposure, timestamp, orientation, and GPS coordinates may travel with a photo. Messaging and social apps handle these fields differently, so inspect the file you actually plan to share.
What removal does
The metadata remover decodes the visible image and writes a new file without optional metadata blocks. It does not blur faces, signs, reflections, or anything else visible.
Check the result
Download the cleaned file and inspect it again when privacy matters. Keep your untouched original somewhere private if camera information is valuable to your archive.
